Beginning Glass Fusing 101 -
Saturday 2-5pm & Sunday 12-4pm $125

Join
this fast-paced weekend workshop.
Students will get an introduction to glass, learn the basics of
cutting & breaking glass and discuss the technical aspects of fusing
and slumping. Students will complete 4-6 projects including candleholders,
jewelry, a bowl, and more. Fee includes instructions, use of tools,
firing, and enough glass to complete 3 projects.

Come learn the secrets to making and using fused glass
pattern bars. Pattern bars are thick multicolored slab of glass that are
cut and reassembled to create
a beautiful
unique patterned plate, bowls, or jewelry. We will make
our pattern bars the first day and cut and assemble the final piece on the
second
day.

know to get started in this exciting glass medium. Each week there will be
discussion covering everything from proper cutting of glass to the
technical aspect of slumping a finished piece. You will also get plenty of
creative time with hands on help. Students will complete four to six

Dichoric Jewelry Sunday

Come dispel the mystery of dichroic
glass and make your own sparkling one of kind jewelry. We'll discuss a
brief intro to fused glass, the history of dichroic glass, and different
ways of using this unique glass in your jewelry. Students will make
beautiful pendants, earrings, and a bracelet. No glass cutting experience
necessary. A materials fee of $35 payable to THE INSTRUCTOR at time
of the workshop.
